2014 Northeast Asian History Foundation Fellowship Program for Northeast Asian Studies
The Northeast Asian History Foundation (NAHF) announces its Fellowship Program in Northeast Asian Studies for 2014. Interested applicants are encouraged to refer to the description below and submit their application with the attached form.

1. Targeted Fields of Study
· Specialists on issues regarding territory and territorial waters in Northeast Asia
· Specialists in the history of Northeast Asian countries and their interaction, including those interested in contributing to research on historical reconciliation and peace in East Asia
2. Eligibility
Individuals who are currently engaged in teaching and research activities and are officially affiliated with an academic institution or society in a country outside South Korea are eligible to apply.
3. Duration and Award
· Duration: a period of up to six months mutually agreed between the grantor (NAHF) and grantee (fellowship awardee)
· Award: Monthly stipend of 4,000,000 won (paid in Korean won)

5. Required Documents and Notification of Selection
· Required documents: ① Application Form
② Curriculum Vitae
③ One Letter of Recommendation
· Selected applicants may expect to be individually notified by the middle of March, 2014.
6. Obligations
· Visiting scholars must submit a research report within three months after the end of their research period.
· Visiting scholars must give presentations on their research at the Northeast Asian History Foundation at least once during their research period.
· If research conducted through this Program becomes published, the Northeast Asian History Foundation should be specifically credited in the publication for its support of the research and one copy of the publication should be submitted to the Northeast Asian History Foundation.
