The foundation held a New Year’s lecture on Wednesday, January 7 at 2:00 p.m. in the main conference room on the 11th floor. Chung Yong-sang, the foundation’s Secretary General, delivered a lecture under the theme, “Communication and Integration: Finding the Way in History.”

Under the overarching theme of “Communication and Integration: Finding the Way in History,” the lecture explored a wide range of subtopics, including Eastern and Western history, the constitution, the rule of law, people-centered principles, and popular sovereignty. Citing figures such as King Sejong, Yi Hwang (Toegye), and Abraham Lincoln, the speaker took a broad view of history in both East and West. Secretary General Jeong concluded by emphasizing the importance of trust and communication in overcoming conflict and division.
