Since the establishment of the Goguryeo Research Foundation, NAHF has unearthed the Kraskino Balhae Castle in the Maritime Province in cooperation with Russia from 2004 to 2018. This Castle is at the eastern end of Balhae. It locates in the spot where the ocean and continent meet. And it is connected to Silla to the south, Tang and the Western Regions to the west, and Japan to the east. At Kraskino Balhae Castle, various artifacts from surrounding countries were excavated along with the walls, temples, buildings and roads left by the Balhae people at the time. This is a valuable cultural heritage that vividly shows the lives and external relations of the Balhae people.
The user can freely use the public work without fee, but it is not permitted to use for commercial purpose, or to change or modify the contents of public work.
