10th Anniversary of the Joint Statement of the South Korean and Japanese Intellectuals

In 2010, more than 1,000 people from Korea and Japan gathered together to agree that "the Korea-Japan Annexation Treaty, which colonized Joseon, is an already null and void". In the past, Korea was a colony, and Japan was a ruling country. It is historically significant that intellectuals of these two countries declared null and void of annexation in the form of a joint statement.
