2020 marks the 100th anniversary of the Independence War and 80 years since the Korean Independence Army was founded. Patriots who decided to be independent against the Japanese colonial rule established the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea and organized a regular army called the Korean Independence Army. The Provisional Government declared war on Japan in the Pacific War because the Korean Independence Army existed, and jointly with the Chinese army on the Chinese Independence Front. In addition, they were also put into the Imphal Front in association with the British army.

It is thanks to the independence war of the provisional government that we are now able to live in the era of democratic republicanism, when sovereignty is given to the people. It was also possible that the Republic of Korea Government was established in 1948 because of the Independence War. We have to think about the history of the Provisional Government. Remember and inherit the Independence War of the Korean Independence Army, which has been striving to achieve independence with the power of the people.

It is the first calendar of the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea, which was created in the 1920 New Year. It shows the status of Korea as an independent country in that the provisional government issued it independently.
