This year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Korea and Mongolia on March 26, 1990. Over the past 30 years, the relations between the two countries have developed dramatically, and all-round exchanges have been taking place. However, the beginning of the relationship between Korea and Mongolia can not be said except for the Goryeo and Mongolian Empire(Yüan) more than 800 years ago. For the first time in history, the Mongol Empire, which consolidated almost all of the continents of Eurasia, is an important key to understanding world history. This is because the Eurasian region has overcome the previous relative isolation and the decisive opportunity to move into an organically integrated world.
